Hunters
Hunters, skins and cosmetics
Unlocking a Hunter vs recruiting one, why skins never change stats, and what "configured route" means.
Checked against the patch notes on .
Unlocking a Hunter is not recruiting one
These are two different costs, and every Hunter page shows them separately:
- Unlocking a Hunter's appearance, often in Blood Bonds, is a one-time purchase that stays with your account.
- Recruiting that Hunter to play costs Hunt Dollars, and you pay again each time you recruit one. A recruited Hunter can be lost, while the unlock stays.
Configured routes are history, not availability
Hunter, charm and cosmetic pages list routes like store, event, Twitch, code, prestige, quest or DLC. Those are configured acquisition routes from the extracted data. They don't establish that an old reward can still be obtained. When a page says availability is unknown, that's the honest answer.
Skins never change how a weapon works
Every equipment skin points to its base item, and its page shows that item's stats. A skin is cosmetic, so it gets no separate damage profile. Where the data doesn't record how a skin was unlocked, the page says Unknown rather than guessing.
Coverage
The data has 254 Hunters, 801 equipment skins, 123 charms and 524 profile cosmetics (avatars, titles, frames, badges, stat trackers and weapon animations). Other community catalogs report larger totals because they count variants and paired appearances differently. That gap is unresolved, and I haven't invented records to close it.
The 2.9.1 notes added Cousin Jed, the Combat Axe skin "The Slasher", Restless Rotation and Suffer the Silence from Cursed Kin. Their prices and every unlock condition aren't in the older extracted data. (2.9.1 notes)
